Enough is Enough came to me one day while I was listening to a woman talk about what it was like for her and her family living in the midst of a war zone. The radio host asked if she would keep them updated about the situation and she replied "I'll try my best but we're really living day to day. I don't know if I'll be alive an hour from now, moreless next week."

It really struck me how much time we waste living in comfort, how much time we spend planning without taking action, how much we invest in a future we're certain will come while we let today slip away.

The value of remembering the past and looking forward into the future is that it can inform our current choices. But if all we have is the present moment, then what will we say, what will we do, how will we seize the day and for who?
